Published: Wednesday, March 25, 2020 | Tags: Associations, chambers of commerce, nonprofit

Your website is going to be the first place people will turn to when searching for information about your nonprofit during COVID-19. One way to keep your members and audience up-to-date on important information like temporary closure, change of hours and available resources is through using home page alerts.

We want to make sure you know that 立博客户端app下载 is here to help your nonprofit fully leverage your website and marketing for member communications during this unknown time. With that being said, we are creating ongoing resources like this article to best assist your organization.

Below are examples of 3 different home page alerts to use on your nonprofit’s website.

1. Update Hero Image and Tagline

The hero image on your website grabs your attention. Add a tagline banner across the hero image to share your organization’s message. Here are two examples featuring a headline and body text, both with a call-to-action button.

2. Alert Bar

Adding alerts to your homepage is a great way to display time sensitive information. This feature immediately alerts site visitors of important information about your organization and can encourage them to check back for regular updates.

3. Pop-up Alert

Using a pop-up alert is another way to grab the attention of site visitors. For example, if your Chamber of Commerce has compiled downloadable documents, blog articles, recorded webinars or other valuable resources for businesses during the spread of COVID-19, you can use a pop-up alert on your homepage and other pages of your site to encourage visitors to click on.
